Marcel Feldmar was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., and is now based in North Hollywood, CA.
He studied creative writing at Capilano College, in Vancouver; then later spent time at the Jack Kerouac School of Dismebodied Poetics (aka The Naropa Institute) in Boulder, Colorado.
His poetic writings have been published bya gleeful press!, and in Products of Conception (Vancouver, BC), Headveins Graphics (Seattle) and In Our Own Words.
In 2014 he released a collection of poetry; The Typewriter Keeps Me Awake At Night.
Marcel has also been contributing to the Big Takeover, a music magazine based in New York, for over a decade now, and his musical journalism has appeared in columns, reviews, articles, and interviews for a variety of ‘zines and magazines across the country.
He has self-published two full length novels: The Devil’s Jukebox, which is a work of Paranormal Pop Fiction about a group of friends who learn their destinies are entangled with the immortal Muses and a mysterious lost jukebox, and Keys To The Sun; a young adult supernaturally stained mystery based in modern-day New Orleans.
Awkward on the Rocks is his third novel.
